What is Kuler?
How it Works?
Design meets function
Our Kuler® technology uses yarns that are spun with our proprietary thermochromic fibers that have a preselected temperature setting in which the color change will occur. These thermochromic fibers are encased inside a polymer which enables our thermochromic yarn to be machine washed ,dried, and even bleached which is a first for mass produced thermochromic yarn.
The transformation process
We then knit our Kuler® yarn into fabric which can be used for everything from fashion apparel and sportswear, to medical textiles and bed sheets. The thermochromic properties enable our textiles to reveal logos, designs, and even display alerts within the fabric via a vibrant color change. This is all possible with only our Kuler® patent pending technology, with the only 2 energy sources being heat from the human body and ambient temperature. No batteries or wires needed.
